The College of Advanced Technologies was established in 2025 in response to rapid advancements in medical and engineering technologies, aiming to prepare smart technical professionals capable of supporting digital transformation and artificial intelligence applications. The College operates within an academic framework founded in 2017 and is distinguished by its modern specializations, including departments considered among the first of their kind in Iraq, with a strong emphasis on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application and aligning graduate outcomes with labor market needs.
