The College of Islamic Sciences organized an educational trip for its students to the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn Library and the Manuscript House, aiming to provide students with direct exposure to the rich scholarly and documentary heritage and to enhance their knowledge of Islamic heritage sources.

The students began their visit at the Holy Shrine Library, touring its various sections and receiving detailed explanations on book preservation methods, modern cataloging techniques, and academic services available to researchers. They also learned about the library’s role in preserving intellectual heritage and promoting specialized studies.

The trip also included a visit to the Manuscript House, where students observed a collection of rare manuscripts and heritage treasures and learned about the preservation, restoration, and documentation processes used to safeguard this important cultural heritage. Staff members provided scientific explanations regarding the history and research value of selected manuscripts.

The trip concluded with a recreational program at the Paradise Garden of the Holy Abbas Shrine, allowing students to enjoy social and relaxing activities that strengthen bonds between them and enhance their psychological and recreational well-being.
